Our growing Indianapolis-based podcast media company is looking for an entry-level Audio Editor to join our rapidly growing, fast-paced team. This person is responsible for creating exciting and engaging podcasts, giving our listeners a unique experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to efficiently and effectively collaborate with the internal team members as well as work independently.

In this role, you’ll get to:
  • Create cutting-edge audio content at the direction of the Producers and Operations Manager
  • Extract elements from raw audio to create compelling stories
  • Repurpose content for advertising and marketing along various platforms, hosting sites and social media
  • Create cross feeds and promotional audio across our entire collection of shows
  • Extract and clean audio clips from calls and interviews
  • Organize audio files in our filing system
These are the skills and background you’ll bring with you:
  • Should have a minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in audio and/or podcast editing and mixing
  • Proficient in the following:
    • Any major DAW of your choice (Pro Tools is a plus)
    • Audio clean-up and restoration software (iZotope RX is a plus)
    • Sound library management
    • Stock/library music editorial and licensing
    • Mac OS and/or Windows systems
  • You’re technically savvy and can use various editing software products and platforms
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Our growing Indianapolis-based media company is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our rapidly growing, fast-paced team. If you have the proven ability to run over 15 very active social media accounts simultaneously, and you thrive working in a very fast-paced environment, then keep reading!

As the Social Media Coordinator, you’ll get to:
  • Manage the social media presence of all audiochuck shows
  • Oversee and coordinate 15+ social media accounts and growing
  • Execute and evaluate all organic and paid social media and digital advertising campaigns
  • Help create and implement unique promotions that contribute to the overarching marketing goals
  • Publish, manage, and maintain the master content calendar
  • Write social media copy and create captivating posts
  • Grow our social media following, engagement and brand awareness
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions
  • Present data and new trends to marketing team
  • Make sure we’re in the know and applying relevant social media features and trends

You are the ideal candidate if you have at least two years of experience managing multiple social media channels in a very fast paced business environment. You enjoy and are efficient with writing copy, creating and editing posts, and managing the scheduling and publishing of all social media posts.

  • Proven ability to execute a comprehensive social media plan for a fast-paced, growing business
  • Hands-on experience increasing brand awareness through social media
  • Ability to create content in sync with a target audience
  • Exceptional knowledge and application of all major social media platforms, with an emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
  • 2+ years as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • Creative skills to design, develop, create and edit content including copy, photos, and videos
  • An understanding of the podcast industry earns you a gold star
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, PR or related field
These are the skills and background that will really make you stand out:
  • Desire and ability to proactively engage with an audience to increase brand loyalty
  • Very proficient with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and have a desire to learn more
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts that are extremely active
  • Proficient with visual creator platforms such as Canva

We’re looking for a hands-on Social Media Coordinator with a true passion for social media. Our organization moves EXTREMELY fast so a sense of urgency and the ability to work very quickly is of utmost importance. Also, managing personal social media accounts is not enough for this role. You must have experience managing accounts within a business.

This is a paid internship.

The marketing intern will support the marketing team through a variety of activities to not only grow and elevate the Crime Junkie podcast and other weekly shows but help support the launch of other shows released under the audiochuck banner.

As the Marketing Intern, you’ll get to:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing efforts and growth plans for existing and upcoming podcasts
  • Create compelling copy across a variety of mediums that include but limited to sales decks, blogs, social media posts email campaigns and digital advertisements
  • Be responsible for the development and deployment of Crime Junkie blogs and episode material
  • Help with the optimization of marketing tactics and campaigns
  • Strategize and implement a variety of fan growth strategies to retain and enhance fan engagement across digital channels
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to streamline marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with the editorial teams to ensure the success of show releases and project milestones
  • Monitor and evaluate data and analytics to surpass marketing and business goals

You are the ideal candidate if you are located in Indianapolis and have a love for content creation and storytelling. You are a recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in marketing or similar. You understand how to analyze an audience and are passionate about engaging and retaining current listeners, as well as reaching new ones. Have a deep understanding of the marketing landscape and are excited to leverage your skillset to support the growth of audiochuck.
